Great, you’ve signed up for the Mathical Readathon! Now what?
Finding the Books
It’s up to you to pull together books to use in your classroom. But be hopeful – many of them may be close at hand!
Counting Your Classroom “Reads”
Your class will be recognized on the Mathical website each month based on the number of books you read.
Actually, it’s even easier than that: a read-aloud counts for many “reads”!
If you have 20 students and you read a book aloud, each student would record the read-aloud as one book. So, you would record 20 “books read.”
Just think how many books we can enjoy reading together with those read-alouds!
Reporting Your Results
Each month you’ll receive a link to a tiny survey where you’ll type in the number of books read. That’s it. That’s the whole shebang.
You’ll receive the message prompt on or near the last day of the month. And you’ll have until the 10th of the following month to share your results.
Happy reading!
