On May 22, 2026, writer Marlaina Cockcroft of School Library Journal shared the story of how SLJ’s Mathical Book Prize Collection Development Awards has provided much-needed funding for U.S. Title I school libraries around the nation add inspiring math stories for all ages to their school collections, pairing Mathical award-winning books with library and classroom activities for students.
